The Hollywood Food Coalition has served hot, high-quality meals to unhoused and food-insecure neighbors every night of the year since 1987. At our core, we actively seek to construct a more cohesive, just, and compassionate community. We serve any hungry person, with no exclusionary intake or prohibitory requirements that would turn them away.

Providing a great meal is the first step in building trust with our dinner guests. Because of our nightly meal, we interact with more unhoused community members on a daily basis than any other social service provider in the area, presenting an opportunity to connect them with other essential needs. HoFoCo's Community Wellness program provides warm clothing, tents, sleeping bags, blankets, hygiene items, backpacks, vitamins, solar-powered lanterns, gloves, shoes, and so much more. We strive to regularly update our offerings based on the season or weather, and the specific needs of our community at that point in time.

Please donate today to support HoFoCo's Community Wellness program! Your gift will support the purchase of much-needed items for our unhoused and food-insecure neighbors, and ensure that we continue to provide consistent care and support to the most vulnerable members of our community, every night of the year.

Funds will be go towards items such as:

  • $25 provides a comfortable and warm sleeping bag to an unhoused neighbor
  • $35 provides 24 people with a bottle of sunscreen to protect themselves from the sun
  • $40 provides four people a portable solar-powered lantern and a source of light, safety, and security during the evening
  • $130 provides 50 community members with socks to keep their feet warm and dry

Thank you Formosa Group for your generous support!

P.S. In addition to providing essential items, our Community Wellness program also partners with nonprofits that regularly provide supportive services for our clients, such as housing, employment, and healthcare. This includes the UCLA Mobile Clinic Project, which has partnered with us since 2000 to provide free medical care weekly. Please check out the video below to learn more!
